Car Insurance Hyundai (Car Insurance). Somebody I know is driving a 125cc bike with no insurance, what should I do?Somebody I know is driving a 125cc bike with no insurance, what should I do? My ex-boyfriend heard I was getting a motorbike for my 18th birthday present, a really good bike as I'm paying for some of it, so he got cocky & went & bought a brand new 125cc crap bike, just because I'm getting one. Whatever I get, he has to get 10 times bigger & better. But today, I found out through his sister that he has no insurance on his new bike. And he drives across town everyday to get to work. Because I'm 100% certain he's driving with no insurance, what should I do? Should I tell the police or is that too dramatic? Do I tell the DVLA? What do they do? The simple fact is that you have no reason to be involved with your ex's business. Rather than worrying about what he may or may not have, focus on yourself and your current relationship. You say you have moved on, if that is the case why are you worrying about him. None of your business. And in some states it's not even illegal to drive a vehicle without insurance. Don't do anything. It's not your problem. It's his. I'd start trying to get more emotionally detached from the ex if you could. You spin me round as she said the dvla she is obviously in the UK so your wrong its completely illegal so you should just tell the police. tell the authorities. as if he crashe's into an insured driver the other guy has no insurance to claim from. and will mean he will have to claim on his own insurance resulting in a higher premium and sometimes losing there excess, which is not fair !, if he had any sense he would realise it is stupid to drive with no insurance, and could face upto a year ban from driving and 6 points don't worry if he get in front of a traffic police car he will get caught out by there - (ANPR) Automatic number plate recognition they will seize his bike if they catch him Report to the Police or anonymously to Crimestoppers. You say that you have moved on from him, yet you want to cause problems for him? Give reg number to police tell them its not insured, then let the boys in blue sort it out You should inform the police. I would report him. Either phone Crimestoppers (anon) or maybe contact your local police (number can usualy be found in the yellow pages). he's a criminal whether or not he's your ex. Before he wrecks someone's life, call Crimestoppers which is anonymous. Auto parts : Running Board Gap Strip Acura 1995 . Running Board Lights Alfa Romeo 1996 . Safety Glasses Audi 1997 . Hyundai . How to Replace the Clutch on an ATVATV riding is an exciting and sometimes dangerous outdoor sport. ATV riders face formidable obstacles, such as rough trails, sharp rocks and steep hillsides. The last thing normally on riders' minds is whether or not their ATV is maintained or well tuned. However, in more than one instance, a mis-tuned or ill maintained ATV can sideline what would have been an enjoyable ride. One particular area of common problem, is the drive train and clutch. Replacing a clutch is a fairly routine maintenance and repair for ATVs and is not a complicated process. Even novice mechanics can accomplish this task by following the simple steps outlined below. Difficulty:Moderate Instructions Things You'll Need Hand tools (screwdriver and ratchet set) New clutch plates and internals Step by Step : 1 Begin by searching the owner's manual for the specific part numbers you will need to replace your clutch. You will need friction plates and pressure springs. Purchase the correct parts and soak them in oil overnight (this prevents excess wear and "breaks in" the plates prior to install). 2 Drain the oil from the bike by removing the oil drain plug located on the bottom of the crankcase. Remove the clutch cover by removing the four to five bolts around the case's exterior. Loosen and remove the bolts holding the pressure plate in place. Remove the friction plates and pressure springs now. 3 Inspect the inside of the case, all O-rings and any gaskets that you can see. Replace gaskets and O-rings if they are cracked or brittle. 4 Reverse the removal process for installation. Replace the pressure springs and friction plates. Reinstall the pressure plate and tighten down all of the bolts according the the manufacturer's specifications. Replace the clutch cover and fill the engine back up with oil. 5 Start the bike and check the clutch pressure. If when the clutch is engaged, gears still are grinding use the cable adjustment knob on the handlebars to adjust for more or less pressure. Test ride the bike and run through all of the gears to make sure that the clutch is engaging and disengaging properly. Tips & Warnings A typical mechanic can perform this reinstall in a few hours for a nominal fee, so if you are less than confident mechanic this may be a safer (and cheaper) route. Wear gloves and eye protection when working with oil and gasoline as these chemicals can be eye, skin and nose irritants. ResourcesUseful and informative firsthand video of an ATV clutch replacement
Hyundai . How to Replace a Car's ClutchIt seems simple enough: push the pedal and the clutch will disengage, allowing you to shift gears. If your clutch isn't working properly, however, you'll hear grinding noises telling you it's time for a new clutch. If you don't want to take your car to a garage, follow these steps to replace your car's clutch yourself. Difficulty:Moderately Challenging Instructions Things You'll Need Owner's manual Various size wrenches Screwdrivers Scraper Soft cloths Clutch/clutch replacement kit Clutch springs (4) Pipe gaskets (2) Clutch cover gasket JackRemove the Old Clutch Step by Step : 1 Verify that your vehicle's clutch is the source of your problems and not the pedal-arm bushings, activating cables or the slave-master cylinder. 2 Unhook the positive battery cable, the clutch cable or hydraulic slave cylinder to get the transaxle ready for easy removal. Eliminate anything that may hinder your efforts, including exhaust pipes and the speedometer. 3 Secure your car in a safe position before jacking up the front end. 4 Stabilize the engine with a jack below the oil pan. Remove the transaxle by undoing at least one engine mount. 5 Separate the engine from the transaxle by removing the bolts that surround the flywheel bell housing. 6 Push the transaxle away from the engine until the input shift clears the pressure plate. 7 Disengage the bolts surrounding the pressure plate and take it and the clutch disc out. Check to see if the flywheel's friction surface is scored, checked or has hot spots. Remove, machine and reinstall the flywheel, if needed. 8 Examine the pilot bearing (bushing) located at the flywheel's center to be sure the needle bearings are lubricated and that there's no galling. Also look for any oil leaking around the rear main engine seal. Replace the Clutch Step by Step : 1 Follow the instructions for replacing your car's clutch carefully to avoid having to remove the transaxle. 2 Check that the transaxle's input shaft isn't leaking; replace if needed. 3 Take out the flywheel and the old seal and install a new seal. Install a New Clutch Step by Step : 1 Clean the crankshaft flange before putting in the flywheel. With the flywheel on top of the flange, secure the bolts in a star formation to the specified torque for your vehicle. 2 Install the clutch disc and pressure plate. Prior to putting in the transaxle, attach the new release bearing to the release fork. The fork should move freely. 3 Hoist the transaxle into position and move it forward until the input shaft glides into the clutch disc's spindled hole. Do not apply force. 4 Reinstall any bolts or mounts that were removed to replace your car's clutch. Grab the transaxle, release the jack and lower your vehicle. 5 Consider replacing your car's clutch cable. If you don't replace the cable at least adjust it for the right amount of free-play. 6 Confirm that your clutch's self-adjusting action is performing correctly by depressing the slave cylinder's piston into its bore. 7 Drive your car to be sure your clutch is working properly. Tips & Warnings Consult your owner's manual for model-specific instructions for replacing your car's clutch. Keep the transaxle from dangling unsupported from your vehicle's engine. Dangling can damage pilot bearings, the input shaft and front input shaft bearing. The ignition system Once your car has started running, the ignition system (see Figure 4-8) con tinues to provide electric current to the spark plugs so that they can provide the spark that causes the fuel to burn. To do so, the current passes from the alternator to the coil, where it is amplified. From the coil, the current goes to the distributor, which directs it to the proper spark plug at the proper time. Chapter 5 examines the ignition system and the rest of the electrical system in greater detail, and Chapter 12 shows you how to keep its various parts working together in harmony. Hyundai .
